AACE Foods

Nigeria

AACE Foods is implementing the Zero Hunger Private Sector Pledge by expanding business with smallholder farmers of cereals, grain, herbs, and vegetables. The company buys chilli, ginger, garlic, turmeric, maize, soybeans, and a range of other products from smallholder farmers in rural communities across West Africa.  AACE Foods then processes, packages and distributes herbs, spices, and flours to retail, wholesale, and commercial buyers in Nigeria and worldwide.

AACE considers its local supply chains and relationship with smallholder farmers to be a key competitive advantage. The company offers a training school for farmers and has recently inaugurated a Women’s Empowerment Program focused on micro-entrepreneurship.
