42 companies have already pledged a promising USD 345 million to contribute to ending global hunger as part of a new initiative led by key international organizations

Significant additional annual spending is needed to reduce the number of hungry people from 690 million today to 170 million by 2030. Large companies can and should step in to play a catalytic role in this effort.
